It has been a long known fact that if you walk into a home holding your nose for the wrong reasons it is going to have a negative effect no matter how amazing the property is. As i mentioned here a few weeks ago the first 11 seconds of a viewing can make or break a sale and it makes sense that a nice smell can have an immediate positive impact! Remember the age old tricks of freshly baked bread, cakes or coffee brewing? According to a recent survey good house smells include fresh flowers, clean sheets, vanilla, Lemon, Lavender ,chocolate and roast dinner! Bad smells could include Tobbaco, cheap air fresheners, old cat litter and damp dogs!
If you are thinking of selling or renting be sure to call Claytons ..the best smelling (and the best selling!..* according to rightmove and Zoopla) Estate Agents in Watford!
